Patient Testimonials
Kathy Sebby began suffering from postherpetic neuralgia, or after-shingles pain, over two years ago. After being diagnosed with shingles, Kathy went on to develop after-shingles pain, which for her meant unbearable pain with even the slightest breeze from the air conditioning vent in her home or from the simplest rub of her clothing. Kathy was bed-ridden for longer than one year, being unable to even move herself to her motorized wheelchair. But today, thanks to treatment and intensive physical therapy, Kathy can now walk and is in the middle of the overall healing process. She joined the Patchwork of Hope NetworkTM to share her experience and to let people know there is hope for a life after shingles. Here is Kathy’s story, in her own words.
