About Dr. Gharibo

Dr. Christopher Gharibo is the Medical Director of Pain Medicine within the Department of Anesthesiology at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases. He is also an assistant professor of Anesthesiology at NYU School of Medicine and maintains a full time pain medicine practice at NYU.

Dr. Gharibo holds an M.D. from New Jersey Medical School. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology and American Board of Pain Medicine and holds special qualifications in pain medicine. He is also a member of the American Pain Society (APS), American Society of Regional Anesthesia (ASRA), International Anesthesia Research Society (IARS) and American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA).
